Job Description

The NSW Government is seeking a Net Zero Transition Specialist to join their Business Decarbonisation Program.

This program provides support to businesses in their transition to net zero, focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy.

In this role, you will work with a team to design and deliver grants for businesses to improve their energy use and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and delivering grant programs for businesses
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to communicate complex topics
  • Understanding energy efficiency and experience with grant design or delivery

The successful candidate will have a technical degree, such as engineering, science or a related field, and experience in energy efficiency, electrification, renewable energy or related projects.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting businesses in their transition to net zero. You will enjoy collaboration within and outside the team and have strong communication skills to communicate complex topics to stakeholders with differing levels of technical understanding.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a critical initiative that supports the state's transition to a low-carbon economy.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their expertise in energy efficiency and grant design, as well as their ability to work effectively in a team environment.
