Key Role: Sector Lead Agribusiness, a key Business & Wealth ESG role is part of our strategic response to Climate and ESG for our Australian Agribusiness portfolio.

The full-time Permanent opportunity involves leading the implementation of net-zero targets for Australian Agriculture in accordance with Group's Net-Zero Guidelines.

We are strongly focussed on delivering climate change commitments and supporting customers in the transition to a net-zero economy by 2050.

This role requires working with business stakeholders to shape industry strategies from a transition perspective, capturing customer actions and insights aligned to sector transition pathways.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead implementation of the Group's net-zero target(s) for Australian Agriculture.
  • Engage and build strong relationships with bankers, customers, industry groups, and other stakeholders to drive insights and execution of our implementation plan.
  • Work with business stakeholders to shape industry strategies from a transition perspective.

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of deep sector experience working in the agricultural industry in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Working knowledge of agriculture sector transition pathways.
  • Experience across relevant emerging themes including natural capital and biodiversity.
