Stablehand Position

The Role

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Stablehand to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about horse care and maintenance.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Mucking out and cleaning stables to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the horses
  • Washing and swimming horses as required, adhering to strict guidelines for animal welfare
  • Providing general day-to-day care of horses, including feeding, grooming, and exercising
  • Strapping on race days, ensuring the horses are properly prepared for competition

  • A strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a large team
  • Attention to detail and punctuality in completing tasks
  • Flexibility with regards to morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts, as well as adapting to changing circumstances
  • A passion for working with horses and delivering high-quality care
