Valiant Stid is a boutique Thoroughbred breeding stud based in the Hunter Valley NSW in close proximity to all the major Stud Farms. We strive to breed and raise top equine athletes and cater for their individual needs as they progress through their career. The working team is a small unit of highly skilled equine professionals who work closely togther with vets and farriers to achieve the best outcomes for horses in our care.

Qualifications

• Experience with horse handling, feeding, and grooming
• Knowledge of stable maintenance and mucking out
• Familiarity with equine health and first aid
• Ability to assist with breeding, preparation for sales, and shows
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot health issues in horses
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding physical tasks
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Certificate in Equine Studies or similar qualifications are beneficial
