Job Title: IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT project professional to lead our high-impact projects. This is a critical role responsible for delivering projects that align with business objectives and drive operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, dedicated to maintaining a positive culture, and delivers exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Head of PMO to identify, prioritise, and deliver projects that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Oversee project planning, task assignments, resource allocation, and successful project delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt plans to address changes while minimising project impact.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment by working closely with colleagues, leading by example, and being available to offer help when needed.
  • Manage project finances, monitor performance, and ensure fiscal accountability.
  • Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, effectively managing expectations and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, participate in lessons learned sessions, and drive process improvements within the PMO.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to PMO policies and processes.
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
About You:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex large-scale projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly regarded.
  • Strong familiarity with the FMCG/manufacturing sector and its challenges.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a collaborative mindset, able to motivate and guide teams to achieve their best.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills with cross-functional support teams and key business stakeholders to ensure cognitive alignment.
  • PMP certification is essential, with additional certifications in Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma highly regarded.
