As a technical expert, you will play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining equipment for various industries. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing mobile and in-house servicing for a range of equipment.
  • Traveling interstate and within the country to service and repair equipment.
  • Processing customer service and repair orders using SAP CRM.
  • Repairing and servicing various types of equipment, including compressed air cylinders, PAPR equipment, and passive RPE.
  • Managing repairs for rural fire mask contracts.
  • Inspecting and pre-delivering finished goods.
  • Monitoring and maintaining spare part stock levels.
  • Engaging with customers at our facilities and managing non-accredited service customer details.
  • Ensuring all equipment requiring calibration is calibrated on time and maintaining records.
  • Collaborating with regional sales managers and the broader team to identify additional revenue opportunities.
Requirements
  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Trade qualification.
  • No specific tertiary qualifications required (trade diploma preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of SCBA equipment servicing.
  • High degree of computer literacy, including SAP CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel analysis, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and across functional teams.
  • High level of functional and technical skills, with the ability to understand and translate technical literature.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and resourceful innovation to meet customer requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and planning abilities.
