Key Responsibilities:

  • Controlling the number of aged delinquent accounts and overdrawn saving accounts through inbound and outbound calling
  • Producing default notices and other regular communications within the required time frame
  • Monitoring credit facilities for restructure, write off (within DLA), and escalating where needed
  • Assessing and making recommendations to manage hardship cases
  • Complying with relevant regulatory obligations and utilising technologies for accurate record keeping

Requirements:

  • A detail-oriented and customer focussed Collections professional with a sound understanding of relevant legislation
  • Exceptional communication skills to negotiate sustainable outcomes for the business while maintaining positive, ongoing relationships with members
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently where needed
