Key Responsibilities:
- Controlling the number of aged delinquent accounts and overdrawn saving accounts through inbound and outbound calling
- Producing default notices and other regular communications within the required time frame
- Monitoring credit facilities for restructure, write off (within DLA), and escalating where needed
- Assessing and making recommendations to manage hardship cases
- Complying with relevant regulatory obligations and utilising technologies for accurate record keeping
Requirements:
- A detail-oriented and customer focussed Collections professional with a sound understanding of relevant legislation
- Exceptional communication skills to negotiate sustainable outcomes for the business while maintaining positive, ongoing relationships with members
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently where needed
