Waste Collection Specialist

This is a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in our hospital. The Waste Management Operative plays a key part in upholding superior standards of waste collection services, adhering to infection control procedures, conducting waste removal, and performing additional tasks as reasonably required by the supervisor.
Main Responsibilities- Collect and dispose of waste in patient and non-patient areas in accordance with infection control procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of waste disposal facilities to ensure compliance with NSW Health standards.
- Maintain accurate records of waste disposal activities and provide reports as required.
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in waste management.
