About This Opportunity

We're seeking an accomplished Shift Manager to lead our Warehouse operations.

You'll oversee a team of 20-50 employees, ensuring seamless execution of business objectives and implementing process improvements to boost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding employee well-being through effective risk management and fostering a culture of safety awareness.
  • Providing visionary leadership and setting the tone for your functional team and broader warehouse staff.
  • Developing multi-skilled teams capable of handling diverse tasks within the DC.
  • Analyzing data to inform strategic decisions on operations.
  • Taking ownership of function outcomes, including safety, quality, productivity, and costs.
  • Identifying losses and addressing root causes, sharing best practices with colleagues.
  • Optimizing labor and overtime expenses to align with budgetary targets.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Frontline supervisory qualifications equivalent to AQF Level IV.
  • At least 3+ years' experience managing critical functions within Distribution Centres and leading large teams.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, proven ability to build accountability and collaboration across the operation.
  • Demonstrated capacity to drive plant reliability and optimization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with operational technology driving efficiencies and improvements.
  • Effective communication, influencing, and integration skills.
  • Problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
