Senior Logistics Executive


About the Role:

The National Manager – Gases is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and driving the success of our Gases logistics operations. This executive operational representative will play a key role in fostering strong partnerships and delivering exceptional service to major customers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safety Culture: Lead the implementation of Toll's Safety Obsessed program, fostering a culture of care, accountability, and rigorous safety risk management.
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all logistics operations related to Gases contracts, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and standardised processes.
  • Team & Culture Development: Provide inspirational leadership to build a high-performance team and a positive workplace culture focused on collaboration, capability uplift, and continuous improvement.
  • Resource & Asset Management: Ensure optimal allocation of people, systems, financial resources, and assets to meet operational plans and drive productivity.
  • Customer & Commercial Focus: Build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and apply commercial acumen to deliver sustainable, profitable partnerships.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Champion initiatives that simplify processes, eliminate waste, and enhance value and profit performance across customer contracts.

Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in logistics or business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated management experience in transport, logistics, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge with WA HVA (Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Accreditation) and AMMS (Accredited Mass Management Scheme).
