Site Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee daily depot operations and support the success of our organization. This role involves managing facilities, expenses, and operations staff to ensure safety, performance, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing daily depot operations and supporting operations managers and supervisors to meet quality and budget goals.
  • Monitoring budgets and operational metrics, diagnosing issues, and improving processes.
  • Implementing safety measures and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Conducting thorough investigations of injuries and incidents, enforcing discipline, and providing retraining.
  • Managing personnel needs, including hiring, coaching, disciplining, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Setting short- and long-term goals and action plans in collaboration with senior management.
  • Participating in P&L reviews, optimizing equipment use, and managing costs.
  • Engaging with local agencies to ensure customer satisfaction, improve efficiency, renew, and negotiate contracts.
  • Addressing employee and labor relations issues in coordination with relevant groups.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Supervisory experience: 5+ years managing teams, including direct and indirect reports.
  • Education and Experience: Associate degree or High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations involving coaching, routing, and employee leadership.
  • Additional Skills: Experience in operations, customer service, community relations, health and safety, financial management, and human resources.
  • Experience implementing OSHA safety programs, managing budgets, and resolving labor issues.
