This is a seasonal position available from mid-year to early next year, with the possibility of ongoing work after this period.
As a Surgical Care Professional, you will contribute to the daily function of the surgical department by working alongside surgeons, interns, anaesthetists, nurses and support staff all while focusing on optimal patient care.
- Develop your skill set by training and cultivating junior nursing staff in surgery to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Work closely with other departments and foster those internal relationships.
The team consists of experienced veterinary specialists in internal medicine and surgery with expertise in equine surgery, medicine, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, lameness, and reproduction.
We are looking for an experienced individual who can prioritise tasks effectively within a team. This role requires a composed and approachable person who can deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements- Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing or higher qualification.
- Experience in equine surgery.
