Service Technician Role Overview

This role is perfect for an individual with a mechanical or technical background who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and delivering outstanding service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform equipment repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on-site and in the workshop
  • Conduct regular service visits and assess equipment within 48 hours of arrival
  • Complete pre-installation assessments and assemble equipment as required
  • Conduct off-hire rental checks and prepare assessment reports
  • Provide phone-based troubleshooting support for customers and internal teams
  • Deliver basic operational training to caregivers and staff
  • Maintain stock and spare parts to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Address customer enquiries, complaints, or technical issues with professionalism and care
Key Duties:
  • Prepare accurate and detailed service quotations for customers
  • Document all work completed in SAP or relevant systems
  • Write comprehensive service reports outlining faults, repair work, and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records of service history, part usage, and customer interactions
Requirements:
  • Full Australian Drivers Licence with a clean record
  • Fully vaccinated against specified diseases (proof required)
  • Willingness to obtain National Police Check, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
