Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Equipment Technician to join our NSW Service Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical equipment across aged care and acute care environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, repairs, and testing of medical equipment and related third-party items
  • Routine scheduled servicing (preventative) and breakdown support (reactive)
  • Promoting services and service contracts to customers in regional NSW
  • Taking the lead in pursuing regional business and collaborating with other technicians in regional NSW to secure new business
  • Providing technical solutions in a professional manner and within agreed time frames
  • Accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired
  • Maintaining spare parts stock accurately
  • Maintaining the safety and integrity of all serviced products

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude
  • 2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within Healthcare or related sector
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong time management and planning skills with ability to meet KPIs
  • Customer-focused, well-presented, confident, and sensitive when interacting with staff and clients in healthcare environments
  • Able to understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Experience with small hand tools, soldering, power tools, and test/inspection equipment
  • Computer literacy; iPad familiarity advantageous
  • Able to work with limited supervision and within a team
  • Current NSW driver's licence (Class C) essential
