Our boutique is seeking an experienced jeweller/goldsmith to create high-quality fine jewellery, including engagement and wedding rings.
Key Responsibilities:- Making intricate pieces using various production methods such as handmaking and assemblies.
- Restoring valuable jewellery and performing delicate repairs.
- Working with precious stones, including diamonds and coloured gemstones, requiring knowledge of their properties and characteristics.
- Several years of experience as a jeweller, preferably in a boutique or workshop setting.
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Good general knowledge of precious metals, diamonds, and coloured gemstones.
- Strong verbal and written skills for effective communication with suppliers and team members.
- Opportunity to showcase craftsmanship and artistic flair.
- Chance to work with a variety of materials and techniques.
- At least 3 years of experience as a jeweller, with formal Tafe or University qualification preferred if less experience.
- Knowledge of precious metals, diamonds, and coloured stones.
- Experience in setting diamonds.
