Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage our vehicle workshop. As the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the workshop, ensuring all maintenance and repair work is carried out to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily workshop operations, including scheduling maintenance and assigning tasks to technicians.
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to maximise fleet efficiency and reliability.
  • Manage a team of skilled automotive technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Liaise with the operations team to coordinate vehicle schedules and respond to urgent maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs.
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Workshop Manager or similar senior automotive maintenance role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems and fleet management software.
