Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Coordinator to oversee and manage all maintenance activities across UniLodge properties. You'll be the vital link between residents, contractors, and our property management team – ensuring our communities remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained.

Location: Woolloongabba, QLD. 2 x full-time positions available – no weekend work. Largest purpose-built student accommodation in Australia within a single precinct featuring 1,578 beds.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule all preventative and reactive maintenance tasks for the asset.
  • Perform general repairs such as plumbing, electrical, plant and machinery, light bulb changes, painting, plastering and carpentry.
  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance requests, ensuring accurate record-keeping and prompt follow-up.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
  • Source and manage contractors, ensuring quality work and compliance with company standards.
  • Assist Property Manager and Facilities Manager with budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring a positive living experience.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in maintenance coordination, facilities, or property management—ideally within residential, BTR, or retirement living environments.
  • Highly organised and tech-savvy with ability to juggle multiple priorities while delivering a seamless service experience.

  • Trade qualified (highly regarded)
