This role offers a unique blend of academic leadership and hands-on teaching. As a Senior Lecturer in Workplace Wellbeing, you will be responsible for leading initiatives that shape the future of higher education.
You will engage in a variety of tasks, from delivering lectures to leading research projects. Your primary goal will be to inspire students and collaborate with academic leaders across disciplines to drive innovation and success.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in workplace mental health and wellbeing. You should have expertise in psychological safety, psychosocial hazards, and/or applied positive psychology.
In addition to your technical skills, we require excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively with colleagues within the School and across the University to support students and promote CQUniversity.
Key Responsibilities
- Possession of doctoral qualification (PhD) in a relevant discipline is a requirement of this role.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching / Education.
- An understanding of current professional and educational issues in higher education and the ability to engage and work effectively with colleagues within the School and across the University to support students and promote CQUniversity.
- Experience and/or expertise in workplace mental health and wellbeing, psychological safety, psychosocial hazards, and/or applied positive psychology.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, writing and evaluation, particularly using flexible modes of delivery.
