Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate culinary expert to join our team at Bayti Restaurant in Parramatta, New South Wales. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and a creative flair for preparing exceptional dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop innovative menus that meet customer satisfaction and seasonality standards.
  • Prepare, cook, and plate dishes with attention to detail and in accordance with the restaurant's standards and style.
  • Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and ensure a smooth, efficient kitchen operation.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet restaurant standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, ideally in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and culinary techniques is essential.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Creativity and passion for developing new dishes and improving the customer dining experience.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years full-time relevant work experience as a chef and formal culinary qualifications such as a diploma in hospitality.
