Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the ministerial and media workload of Defence Legal. You will provide support to Divisional subject matter experts and coordinate Defence Legal's input to internal business and Ministerial and Parliamentary tasking and workflow.

This includes managing Ministerial submissions and correspondence, Question Time Briefs, Questions on Notice, media enquiries, cabinet taskings, and other products tasked through the Parliamentary Document Management System.

You will also provide administrative and executive support to the Chief Counsel and Defence Legal Division, assisting in managing Divisional business and corporate related activities as required.

About Our Team

As a member of this small team, you will report to the Executive Officer and have the opportunity to work directly with Senior Leadership and experience the breadth of Departmental services, programs, policy, and regulation.
