**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Risk Assurance Specialist to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in planning and executing audits, identifying and evaluating potential risks or weaknesses in internal processes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a high-performing team and contribute to the improvement of our internal controls and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of risk management principles.

About You

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting or a Business discipline, and you have professional qualifications such as CIA, CA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years' post-degree auditing experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • You possess excellent problem-solving and solution skills, with a strong ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and you are comfortable travelling frequently for work, both domestically and internationally.

About the Role

  • You will assist in audit planning and execution, including developing plans and programs, conducting internal audits, and documenting findings.
  • You will identify and assess potential risks and weaknesses in internal processes, collaborating with senior auditors on risk mitigation strategies.
  • You will review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, analysing data for trends and anomalies.
  • You will recommend improvements to internal controls and operational processes based on audit findings and assist in their implementation.
