We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Coles, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the supply of great quality food from suppliers to stores.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of quality standards and product specifications. You will maintain tools and equipment and manage timely quality inspections for fresh produce and chilled deliveries.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Recording and communicating inspection outcomes to the Coles Quality and Commercial teams
  • Ensuring high-quality products are dispatched from our Distribution Centre to our stores
  • Working as a casual position, up to 20 hours per week, across 7 days, including weekends and public holidays, with flexible start times between 4am and 12pm
About You and Your Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with your team
  • Excellent priority, time management and communication skills
  • A proactive approach, able to work quickly and identify challenges and risks
  • The ability to work with or learn quickly how to use a range of tools/equipment or systems for quality testing
