Job Description

Northern Health seeks a motivated and experienced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Projects & Quality Manager to join the Digital Health Division.

The EMR Projects & Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering approved EMR projects, including preparation of business cases, scoping of business and software requirements, project management and establishment of project resources.

Key responsibilities include setting the roadmap for future EMR projects, determining the priority of works based on strategic requirements, and establishing an EMR quality program including review of EMR related incidents and risks, and conducting regular EMR workflow reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience and good working knowledge of Oracle Health EMR clinical information system
  • Proven ability to manage large scale projects
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders within the organisation and with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight time frames
  • Ability to implement a quality improvement program in monitoring the use of the EMR
