About the Role :
This is a permanent position at 44 hours per fortnight within the Parkville Electronic Medical Record (EMR) team.
You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, configuring, installing, and supporting the EMR Research functionality to facilitate research activities across the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI), Melbourne Children's Centre for Health Informatics, and Parkville Precinct Research partners.
What you'll achieve :
- Configure, build, test, and perform system maintenance tasks to ensure the EMR application is available, up-to-date, and well maintained;
- Analyze workflows, enhancement requests, and other technical issues related to the EMR, developing functional and technical solutions based on a thorough understanding of user requirements;
- Design and implement approved EMR Research Application optimizations to ensure effective end-user engagement in the continuous improvement of the EMR, supporting and enhancing the delivery of care.
Classification for this position ranges from AO61 to AO65, with a base salary from $106,464 to $109,319 per annum, plus superannuation.

- Advanced skills in workflow review and design, with a proven ability to deliver solutions that meet end-user needs;
- Ability to meet work deadlines, prioritize workload, and manage competing demands;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on gaining consensus, facilitation, and consultation.
