The Hume Rural Health Alliance (HRHA) aims to meet the growing digital needs of 15-member Health Services within the Hume region.

The initiatives managed by HRHA focus on digitalising regional healthcare, providing patient-centred information systems to improve outcomes, drive efficiencies, and enhance information flow.

GV Health is the lead agency for HRHA.

The Hume Digital Health Program has implemented several initiatives, including a single PAS (i.PM), a regional integration engine (Rhapsody), and a regional platform for clinical care access (Miya Precision). There is more to do, including preparing for an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), reviewing clinical services and EMR readiness, and evaluating EMR solutions across Victoria.

The region is also working on connecting to Victoria's UPI and expanding My Health Record technology. The PMO will be essential in guiding these efforts, ensuring high performance and effective decision-making across the program's governance.

This role is pivotal in leading the region's digital health initiatives towards the successful deployment of an EMR.
