Job Title:

Lifeguard

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced lifeguard to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all visitors at the water park.
  • This includes providing constant supervision, adhering to safety protocols and procedures, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • They will also have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities:

Safety and Emergency Response

  • Provide constant supervision of the general public and prioritize guest safety at all times.
  • Ensure all aquatics and attractions areas are always supervised and that all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.

Customer Service

  • Provide high-quality service to all visitors to the water park.
  • Ability to complete Dispatch Smart training by Alive Solutions and follow all attraction operating procedures, restrictions, and guidelines.
  • Relay accurate information and advice to guests in a pleasant and helpful manner.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Responsible for assisting with park cleanliness, including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, clearing, and cleaning tables, emptying rubbish bins, maintaining picnic areas, maintaining birthday & cabana areas, work areas, and restrooms.
  • Assist with pressure washing as required.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A current certification in lifeguarding (such as the Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard Training Program).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
