Job Description:

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project is a significant infrastructure development in South Australia, comprising the construction of two tunnels and an open motorway. As an Infrastructure Acquisition Specialist on this project, you will be responsible for coordinating procurement activities, including preparing tender invitations, analyzing bids, and negotiating contracts.

You will work closely with the project team to ensure that all procurement activities are aligned with the project's objectives and timelines. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a thorough understanding of procurement processes and contract law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating procurement activities, including preparing tender invitations, analyzing bids, and negotiating contracts
  • Working closely with the project team to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines
  • Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and contracts
  • Providing advice on procurement-related matters to the project team
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in procurement, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sectors. You should possess a comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, contract law, and negotiation techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred)
