Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Tarrawonga site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment, providing relief supervision and support to the maintenance team, and coordinating with production and maintenance teams to meet targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Raise and manage work orders, parts, and records to optimize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to achieve production targets and improve overall efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
Requirements
  • A relevant mechanical trade qualification and current driver's license.
  • Previous experience as a Leading Hand or in a similar leadership role, preferably in coal mining or heavy industry environments.
  • A strong background in heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance, with knowledge of CMMS (preferably PULSE) and Microsoft Office.
