Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Field Service Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out diagnostic evaluations and perform mechanical service and upgrades on machinery.
  • Attend to production breakdowns and undertake diagnostic work to identify and rectify issues.
  • Be part of a build team commissioning new equipment, ensuring it is safe and operational.
  • Liaise with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements.
  • Complete and submit all relevant documentation and reporting paperwork, including maintenance records and incident reports.
  • Maintain good working relationships with customers, peers, and other departments, providing excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Intermediate PC skills, ability to analyse technical data and reports, and proficient in using software applications related to the role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to provide clear instructions and guidance to colleagues and customers.
  • Strong focus on safety, adhering to site safety processes and procedures, and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, environments, and workloads, and maintain a flexible approach to meet business needs.
