About the Role

This is a hands-on position requiring mobile equipment maintenance, relief supervision for trades and contractors, assistance with work management systems, and ensuring maintenance coverage for breakdowns.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide support and guidance to the maintenance team as needed, including training and development opportunities.
  • Raise and manage work orders, parts, and records in our enterprise resource planning system.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to meet operational targets and objectives.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance throughout the workplace.
Your Qualifications
  • A relevant mechanical trade qualification and current driver's licence are required.
  • Prior experience as a Leading Hand or in a similar leadership role is highly valued.
  • A strong background in heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance is essential.
  • Experience in coal mining or heavy industry environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications is an asset.
