As a Kitchen Hand/Cook at CraigCare Albany Home, you will play a vital role in assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving, and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and an understanding of special dietary requirements.
We are seeking a motivated individual with previous hospitality experience who can contribute to a clean and safe working environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program.
- Contributing to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors, and staff.
- Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program.
You will work across any day of the week, and your flexibility is essential for this role. As a team member, you will be expected to communicate effectively, have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
In addition to your skills and experience, you must possess:
- Current NDIS check clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Proof of Work rights in Australia.
- Proof of COVID Vaccination certificate (2 doses + booster dose).
- Proof of Flu vaccination (current year).
