Welcome to Roshana Care Group, a leading provider of Aged Care services in Western Australia. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Specialist to join our team at our facilities in Albany.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing through person-centered care. As an Aged Care Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized support and coordinate activities that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.

The role involves following care plans to assist residents with personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility, while also supporting them to engage in meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, and for communicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to residents, ensuring their dignity and autonomy are respected at all times.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Coordinate activities and programs that promote resident engagement, socialization, and overall wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care plans, progress notes, and any relevant medical information.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the needs and challenges faced by older adults.
  • Knowledge of aged care principles, policies, and procedures, with a focus on delivering person-centered care.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.

We offer a competitive salary package commensurate with your experience, including:

  • A generous base salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum.
