About the Opportunity

We are seeking committed Caregivers to join our Care team at our Moran Sylvania home.

Vacant shifts: Morning Shift (06:30am to 13:30pm/14:30pm), afternoon shift (14:30 pm to 21:30pm) - Monday to Friday

As a Caregiver, you will be providing quality care and support to residents living in our residential home. You will be supported and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality essential care, personal assistance, and emotional support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
  • Maintaining effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change, and kind in your approach.
  • Completing accurate and timely documentation and reporting information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health, and Management as required.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Minimum 6 months experience
  • Commitment to providing a high standard of care and service
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and be supportive of your colleagues
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid working visa
  • Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
  • Highly organized with strong planning skills
