We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Homemaker and Companion Caregiver to join our team at Right at Home. As a Homemaker and Companion Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Homemaking and Housekeeping: Maintain a safe and clean environment for our clients, including tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions, and may also be responsible for shopping for groceries.
- Companionship: Provide companionship for our clients, including accompanying them on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assisting with hobbies and interests.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Competency Evaluation: Completion of a written Competency Evaluation.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and have access to an insured automobile or adequate transportation for the job.
