About the OpportunityWe are currently seeking committed Caregivers to join our Care team at our Moran Sylvania home. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality essential care, personal assistance, and emotional support to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
- Be part of the night shift care team, working together to support resident overnight care needs and preparations for the following day's shift.
- Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change, and kind in your approach.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and report information to relevant Nursing, Allied Health, and Management as required.
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Minimum 6 months experience
- Commitment to providing a high standard of care and service
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and be supportive of colleagues
- Basic computer skills
- Valid working visa
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
- Highly organized with strong planning skills
