Job SummaryWe are currently hiring for a Homemaker and Companion Caregiver position. As a member of our team, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their residences, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your duties will include performing various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and companionship activities.
Responsibilities- Perform homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions and may shop for groceries.
- Provide companionship for the client, including accompanying them on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, and assistance with hobbies.
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Completion of a written Competency Evaluation.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
- Flexible full or part-time hours.
- Caregiver Training and Continuing Education.
- Caregiver Appreciation Program.
