Home Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our KinCare team in Gold Coast South. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
- Offer social support and engage our customers in lifestyle activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and mobility assistance.
- Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
- Transport customers to appointments and provide social support during these visits.
- Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia support.
- A guaranteed number of hours close to home as a permanent part-time employee.
- Extensive paid training and a culture of continuous learning to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to excel in your role.
- Accelerated learning programs to gain your professional qualifications (Cert 3).
- Paid CPR and First Aid courses.
- Paid kilometers, phone allowance, and discounts on car maintenance.

- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
- Availability to work at least 3 days – Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
- Comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
