Job Summary:
KinCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team on the Gold Coast. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
- Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Provide respite and emotional support, recognizing the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
- Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they receive the care and support they need.
- Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, with empathy and understanding.

Requirements:
- You must be passionate about assisting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License.
- A registered vehicle is essential, as travel is a part of the role.
- You should be able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the needs of our customers.
- A minimum of three days' availability, Monday to Friday, is required, with no night or weekend work.
- You should be comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to seek support from your Manager.
