We are seeking a dedicated Care Specialist to join our team at Respect Aged Care. This role is perfect for those who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.

About the Role:

  • The Home Care Assistant delivers individualised, personalised care and assistance to clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
  • Responsibilities may include monitoring client condition, transportation, house cleaning, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other health and wellness-related activities.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for making a difference in aged care community services.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Respect for all individuals, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and computer skills.
  • A flexible approach, with willingness to adapt to changing situations.
  • Confident use of electronic communication and applications.
  • COVID vaccination is mandatory in the Home Care industry.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
  • A Certificate III in Ageing, Individual Support, or similar qualification is desirable.
  • A full driver's license and suitable transportation.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
