About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Midwife to join our multidisciplinary team. As a midwife with Western District Health Service, you will provide individualized woman-centered care to women and their families across the birthing continuum.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. They will also possess strong clinical skills and knowledge, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families in a modified caseload model of midwifery care.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, woman-centered maternity care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to midwifery care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing and Grad Diploma in Midwifery or Direct Entry Bachelor of Midwifery
  • Registration as a midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders
  • Current Driver's Licence
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including:

  • A$79,352 to A$100,146.80 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
  • SUPERANNUATION
