Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a Pathology Collector. This role involves collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high-quality healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples with care and attention.
  • Maintaining accurate records for every patient and sample.
  • Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times.
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing.
  • Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a relevant healthcare background.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously and travel to multiple clinics.
  • A valid Driver's license and flexibility to adapt to different locations.
  • A working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a valid visa with permission to work.
Vaccine Requirements

Hepatitis B vaccination evidence is a requirement for this role, as well as other vaccinations based on location.
