We are seeking a highly experienced and successful Mortgage Lending Specialist to join our team at Great Southern Bank. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers in the Toowoomba Branch.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and serve the local community as the first point of contact for our customers and their retail banking and lending needs.
- Manage and own home loans through to completion, grow your pipeline and constantly scan for opportunities to help all Australians own their own home.
- Build an ever-growing business network and actively promote Great Southern Bank's products and services to deliver on our Purpose and increase our target market share.
- Work closely with your Branch Manager to promote the Great Southern Bank Brand and purpose to our existing and future customers, through regularly strategic networking and business development activities.
- Be accountable for the day-to-day operations of your service, including meeting service standards and performance targets.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mortgage lending/credit assessment.
- Demonstrated experience in working with all banking products.
- Proven ability to network with key stakeholders and previous experience pursuing leads and obtaining business through network activities.
- Self-motivated, driven and results-oriented with a proven ability to apply cross-selling techniques for products and services.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer and sales focus.
- Ability to problem-solve complex financial problems.
- Strong ability to work autonomously whilst still maintaining strong connections with your team.
- Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder management.
