About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter/Welder to join our Engineering team at Dreamworld, a premier theme park on the Gold Coast.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing all rides, plant, and equipment within the park, while adhering to safe and efficient work practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, and dewatering systems
  • Perform heavy fixed plant repair and welding and fabrication tasks
  • Diagnose and repair issues with rides and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth park operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years post-trade experience in industrial maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills, particularly in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • A current Manual driver's license and EWP and forklift licenses (desirable)
  • Flexibility to work weekend and shift hours on a rotational roster
