Palliative Care Educator Position
This position involves providing education and leadership to support the development of knowledge and skills for staff and learners in palliative care.
As a Palliative Care Educator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating palliative care learning activities across our service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and education, with relevant post-registration qualifications and experience in palliative care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering palliative care education programs for staff and learners.
- Providing guidance and support to staff and learners to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality palliative care.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of palliative care education programs and making recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Post-graduate Qualification in education or working towards (highly desirable).
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and experience in palliative care required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
