Data Analytics Manager – Wealth Management Strategy

Perpetual, a leading wealth management business in Australia, is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to join its Separation Management Office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Perpetual's Wealth Management division and driving business growth through data-driven insights.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Manager/Manager Data Analytics position requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in finance, data analytics, and IT systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the PP Finance teams with Separation Programme activities, including developing Business Intelligence tools and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Importing data from transactional systems and other sources into TM1 cubes, stabilizing, and connecting pipes, feeds, macro's connected to the general ledger Computron, Finance data mart (FDM business object), and other internal and external applications.
- Developing analytics tools and data visualizations for Finance and business stakeholders, including Group Executives.
- Designing and managing core reports/dashboards, creating an automated self-service catalogue of reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business partners and key stakeholders across the business.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 10 years of financial services industry experience, with expert knowledge of core finance & operational systems.
- A relevant Finance/IT/Math's degree or significant experience within the profession.
- 5 years' experience as a TM1 developer, with expertise in creating cubes and writing processes.
- Ability to work with large and complex data from various sources across multiple database platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Azure, Business Objects, and TM1, as well as SQL/VBA/ODBC data extraction and manipulation skills.
- Experience with visual reporting tools like PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau.
