Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist

The role of an Administrative Support Specialist is a pivotal one in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions and providing essential support to key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating effective communication with Panel Members and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of decision documents within statutory timeframes.
  • Providing quality control of decision documents, encompassing formatting, grammar checking, and minor editorial work.
  • Coordinating the timely release of Medical Panel opinions/determinations in line with legislation.
  • Offering front-end IT support for Panel Members, including secure ID tokens and system access.
  • Assisting in training Panel Members on administrative procedures and use of internal IT systems.
  • Rendering primary administrative support to the Legal Manager and Advisors.
  • Supporting other teams with administration duties when required.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience and competency using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and other office systems/databases.
  • Proven experience managing digital files in a complex environment.
  • Administration experience ideally within a medical, legal, or personal injury management setting.
  • Strong written and oral communication and experience reviewing complex technical, legal, or medical documents.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and preparing documentation.
