About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Counsel to join our in-house Legal team in Sydney, NSW. This is a permanent role offering a unique opportunity to join a strong in-house legal team with great career development opportunities and the ability to make the role your own.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Legal, your role will involve providing strategic advice to business units and senior management on significant legal issues and representing the company's interests on large-scale bids and their associated contracts across various sectors.
- You will be responsible for owning the legal service for significant projects, addressing both upstream and key downstream contractual arrangements, and supporting all legal aspects of the project from EOI through to contract close.
About You
- You will have at least 6-10 years' PQE, with in-house experience being highly regarded.
- You will have a good working knowledge and experience of advising on and negotiating a range of contract types.
- You will enjoy working autonomously as part of a collegiate team.
- You will be pragmatic and practical in your approach, as well as being solutions-focused.
- You will have impressive interpersonal and communication skills and a drive to succeed.
