Job Title:

Credit Management Specialist

As a Credit Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end ledgers, collecting and following up on overdue accounts, reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and improving payment cycles.

The role involves conducting credit checks, opening new accounts, managing credit holds and releases, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external clients, reconciling customer accounts, handling disputes promptly, and flagging potential cash flow concerns early.

  • Manage your own end-to-end ledger and ensure accurate and timely reconciliation.
  • Proactively collect and follow up on overdue accounts to reduce DSO and improve payment cycles.
  • Conduct credit checks and open new accounts to increase revenue and growth opportunities.
  • Manage credit holds and releases to minimize disruptions to business operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and handle disputes promptly to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Flag potential cash flow concerns early to prevent financial issues from arising.
Requirements:

  • Demonstrated credit experience, preferably in a high-volume or manufacturing environment.
