About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Wollongong, NSW. As a key member of our Occupational Rehabilitation team, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with physical and psychological conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs and develop tailored rehabilitation plans to support their recovery and return to work.
  • Collaborate with employers, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conduct assessments and provide expert advice to support clients in achieving their goals and returning to work.
  • Work across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC).
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded.
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy essential for this role.
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
