Clinical Lead for Resident Care

This leadership role is available in our clinical space, working across afternoon and weekend shifts.

As a Clinical Lead & Nurse Mentor, you will report to the Facility Manager with support from the Care Manager. You will oversee and guide our passionate care team.

Your key purpose will be to ensure that all residents receive high-quality clinical care. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Providing expert clinical leadership and guidance to clinical and care service teams.
  2. Collaborating with the Care Manager to lead carer teams in delivering clinical care services, monitoring and tracking indicators to achieve best practice outcomes.
  3. Managing all aspects of assessment, documentation, and submission of AN-ACC requirements.
  4. Supporting the effective documentation and user support of policies, procedures, and IT system requirements.
  5. Coordinating assessment, care planning, and review processes.
  6. Ensuring accurate information is recorded in accordance with organisational and legislative requirements (AN-ACC, resident records).

You will possess:

  • A deep empathy for our residents and a commitment to continually improving quality of care.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Clinical Lead or similar position.
  • A current unrestricted Registered Nurse Div 1 with AHPRA.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in aged care would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience and knowledge of Aged Care clinical assessments, care plans, AN-ACC, and accreditation compliance and documentation.
